  • Thursday 16 April 20:00
  • Friday 17 April 20:00

1 hours 30 mins

£12/£10 concessions

An improvisational evening woven from highlights from ten of her funny and insightful full-length works, including Bitch!Dyke!Faghag!Whore!Bad ReputationLaMiseriaLove, Sex and Sanity, and New York Values.

Legend, icon, wild-hearted demoness bad-girl bitch. It is impossible to describe the juggernaut that is Penny Arcade without entering the world of hyperbole that she not only inhabits but also personifies.

Penny Arcade climbed out of her bedroom window at age fourteen to join the fabulously disenfranchised worlds of queers, junkies, whores, stars and geniuses. By the age of twenty she had become a star of John Vaccaro’s seminal Playhouse of the Ridiculous and Andy Warhol’s Factory and is now, still one of the most influential performers in the world.

By fearlessly displaying her singular brand of feminist sexuality and personal conflict she has garnered countless fans worldwide with an emotionally and intellectually charged performance style. Internationally revered as writer, director and actress, she has become the very bedrock that many of the biggest names in the entertainment industry have built their careers upon.

"Audacious and irresistible" The Times

"Hot & hysterically funny" New York Post

"Penny Arcade combines the anarchy of Lenny Bruce with the pathos of Judy Garland. She is provocative, intellectually stimulating, perceptive and hilariously funny" The List, UK

"Arcade is a wonder to behold; she manages to entertain, absorb and broaden the audience simultaneously. Beg, steal a ticket" Newsweek
